India has 1.4 billion people and roughly 270 IPL contract slots. For every kid in a city academy, there are a thousand kids in a Tier-3 net session — playing on cracked pitches with no scouts in the stands.
ScoutAI was built on a single bet: that the next Bumrah, the next Chhetri, the next Sunil Narine-equivalent is already throwing / kicking / batting somewhere in India. They just don't have a way to be seen.
We solve that with two things: a 50-academy district partnership network that feeds us weekly training video, and an AI vision pipeline that scores 40+ biomechanical signals per session — automatically, objectively, at zero marginal cost.
The product is built around the IPL/ISL scout's actual workflow, not generic "sports analytics". Shortlists, scout reports, fee estimates — pushed straight into franchise war-rooms.
Operating principles.
Every product decision is filtered through: 'does this help a Tier-3 academy coach get their kid into a war-room?' If not, we don't build it.
Federations move on 5-year timelines. Franchises move on 5-day trade windows. We optimise for the second.
Scouts buy outcomes — better signings. The AI is a means to that end. We never lead with the model.
